Portraits of Sisters on the Polaroid 20x24

I have two sisters, and so of course, I am fascinated by the sister relationship. I don't know what to make of it. I am the oldest. Each of us remembers different things abt our childhoods. Even if it is the same event, we remember it totally differently. In some ways we seem to me very much like each other. And in other ways, we seem very different. Our best sister experience, from my point of view, was how we dealt with the old age of our parents. It was very difficult for each of us, but we agreed on all the essentials. When I photograph sisters I am curious abt how they look like each other or unlike each other. And how different or unlike they seem to be. I feel I am opening a familiar novel.
